Welcome Bikers ("Welcome Bikers", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data processed through the Welcome Bikers Partner Portal and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you
1. Who We Are
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, the entity identified above acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Partner Portal
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Partner Portal, we may collect:
Account information
Your name; email address; authentication and account information; organization or business name; and information about your role in or relationship with a business
Business and place information
Business name and category; address and location; contact information; website and social media information; descriptions, opening information and biker benefits; photographs and other media; and information submitted to demonstrate your right to manage a place
Some business information may not constitute personal data where it relates solely to a legal entity. However, business information may contain personal data where it identifies an individual
Verification information
We may process information that you provide to establish that you are authorized to represent or manage a particular business or place. We ask users to provide only information reasonably necessary for verification
Subscription and transaction information
If you purchase a Welcome Bikers partnership subscription or another commercial service, we may process the service or plan purchased; the place to which the purchase relates; subscription start and expiry dates; transaction status; billing information; and payment references and related records
Payment card or bank payment information may be processed directly by a third-party payment provider. Where this occurs, Welcome Bikers may not receive or store your complete payment credentials
Technical information
When you use the Partner Portal, we may automatically process certain technical information, including IP address; browser and device information; timestamps; authentication and session information; security logs; and error and diagnostic information
3. Why We Use Your Information
We may process personal data to create and maintain your Partner Portal account; authenticate users and maintain secure sessions; process requests to claim or add places; verify your authority to manage a place; allow you to manage information about an approved place; provide subscriptions and other commercial services; administer Featured Placement and similar promotional services; communicate with you regarding your account, verification, subscriptions or managed places; prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access; maintain security and technical reliability; comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and improve the operation of the Partner Portal and related Welcome Bikers services
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on one or more appropriate legal bases, including performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Partner Portal, subscriptions or other services requested by you; steps before entering into a contract, for example when processing registration or verification requests; legitimate interests, including maintaining platform security, preventing abuse, managing our business relationships and improving our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; legal obligations, where information must be processed or retained to comply with applicable law; and consent, where applicable, including for certain optional cookies or similar technologies
5. Verification of Places
Claiming a place does not automatically give a user the right to manage it. Welcome Bikers may review information submitted by a user to determine whether the user appears authorized to represent or manage the relevant business or place. Verification information is used for this purpose and for preventing unauthorized claims
6. Public Business Information
Information about a place that you submit or manage may be published through Welcome Bikers services and made visible to users. This may include business names, descriptions, addresses, contact details, photographs, biker benefits and other information intended to describe the place. You should not submit personal information for public display unless you have the right to do so
7. Sharing of Information
We may share personal data with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our services, including providers of hosting and infrastructure, email and communications, payment processing, security and monitoring, analytics where applicable, and technical support. We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users or services. We do not sell personal data to advertisers
8. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information outside your country. Where personal data protected by the GDPR is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required by applicable law
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing our services and meeting legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements
10. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of personal data; request restriction of processing; object to certain processing; receive certain data in a portable format; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal limitations and exceptions. To exercise a privacy right, contact us at [PRIVACY EMAIL]
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security

The Partner Portal may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences and other purposes. More information is available in our Cookie Policy
13. Third-Party Services
Our services may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their processing of personal data is governed by their own privacy policies, and Welcome Bikers is not responsible for their independent privacy practices
